No, there is no rule that decks have to be posted, if there was, i would have, you guys always seem to take things done because someone is nice, for things that have to be done every time.

Why do you need the decks anyways? Offten times, it can kill the only deck someone has been able to make, and that, is uncool IMO.

When the Directorship format was first announced, back when GA had a section on the CX web site describing it, it was stated that the decks used by the Director and the challenger would be posted to help players get ideas for their own decks. Why has the CXCC decided to do away with this?

Josh, that doesn't answer the question. The site didn't say maybe the decks will get posted, depending on whether or not the judge wants to do it. It said decks will be posted. That was part of what makes the Pro Directorship different.

As far as posting the players only good deck, if the player is going to be a "Pro", they should be able to field more than 1 deck.

So the question remains... why did the CXCC decide to do away with this practice?

Kosh, if its the case of being a pro and pros haveing there decks posted, then why dont we post the deck each player used ot qual? because that basicly what oyu just stated.

Again, its not that it was done away with, its just that it was made the call of the Judge.

Neither the CXCC nor BSRD has made any rulings on this subject, although I'll be sure to bring this up.

When Dir. started, it was stated that such decks would be posted. Unless there IS a public announcement from the CXCC chair about any changes in the Dir. format the primary rules should be respected.

As os posting the deck, spoiling it, all players that join the Dir. are pretty much aware and therefore agree that their decks will be posted if they manage to win or take directorship.

Other than that, posting the deck doesn't spoils the deck, but incentivate the players to build new ones.

So as long as there isn't an official announcement from the CXCC chair (and Andrea would need to approve it I believe, since she's the new owner), "I don't post decks" isn't a good excuse, since it's not up to you to decide that.

Plus, how hard is that? Takes what, 2 mins?
