As we all know, Xmas is coming soon, and I've decided to run my first tournament, and give it a kinda christmassy feel.

However, I find a problem with an overweight man climbing down millions of houses and leaving gifts for children. Any other person would be arrested.

In protest of the mince pie munching drunkard, I'm banning all cards beginning with the letters X, M, A and S.

Not being entirely devoid of the christmas spirit, I will allow everyone to choose one card that begins with any of these letters, and they can use it for the entire tournament. Cards that generate otherwise illegal cards are allowed

All of the chosen cards will be declared to everyone in the competition room at 4:45 PM, to allow for deck tweaking.

The room will open at 4:30PM, cards announced at 4:45PM. Latecomers will have to use a card already existing in the list. Anyone who wishes to take part, but might not be able to make it for 4:30/4:45 can PM me their choice at any time before the event.

Map: America
40/4
All common bases can be used, regardless of the letter they begin with

Prizes:

1st: A mystery BP VR
2nd: Nonames HQ (Syndicate)
3rd: Sword of righteousness
BLT: some c/uc

If many people find the format too confusing or anything, then I might change it, so PM me with your comments.

The event went well, even if only with 5 competitors.

Lord Chaos beat shogun and sergio to win a fall back , helped by a bye
Sergio took 2nd place, beating shogun and chris- TAA
shogun took third, despite losing his first round match by winning an rps, and beating chris- TAA
chris- TAA took home 4th, beating operative, winning 50 c/uc
Operative came last, but still took home 25 c/uc plus 10 kindly donated by chris- TAA.

Was a date part of the initial post? I sure don't see one. Maybe that's part of the reason for the low turn out, especially if you're running an odd-ball format (players need time to make a deck).

Yeah the date was in the title.

Honestly. Sir...and miss out on enjoying my truck rippling and melting under me as the asphalt roils and spews charteuse magma into a candy-colored sky? I hardly think so.

The ever elusive subtitle. The really ironic part is that I *just* noticed the date there when I when I was looking at new posts, and noticed a response.
