FactionSupremacy: Biathalon has been moved to Friday @ 20:00 to avoid Valentine's day.

This week's format is game play. Each victory will be worth approximately 3 points. A bonus will accrue to teams that bring 4 or 5 players.

TCF is currently in first.
DR is in second.
APPA is in third.
KotR is in fourth.

Lots of teams are chasing the top four:
RCM, TAA, AoA, Celestial Defenders, the After Dark Society. You can still make a team and compete on Friday!

The top two teams make the Finals.

I think this short-notice change in time is a bad idea. I would have been able to make, and was certainly planning to make, the Saturday evening slot. But this Friday evening is definitely out of the question for me.

The Centauri Foundation versus the Dragon Riders

in the Finals of FactionSupremacy: Biathalon.

100 possible points in the final. 60 points in the game play over two rounds.
40 points of knowldegewarz (trivia).

Teams should bring at least 5 players.
In each of the two game play rounds the captain will submit a 1-through-5 lineup. The lineup can be different each round. Assuming there are 5 players each then each win will be worth 6 points and a draw will be worth 3.

If one team has 5 players one round and the other has 4, the team that brings 5 gets *3* points for the *five* slot. If one team has 5 players one round and the other has 3 players, the larger team gets *3* points for the *five* slot, and *4* points for the *four* slot.

I've talked with both Klaw and Spam about this.

If both teams bring more than 5 players there are options. Unless the captains both agree otherwise, we stick to 5 players per round. however, if they both agree, they can each play 6 players (and then the games will simply be worth 5 points each). Another option is that they play, but the games past 1-5 dont count for points.

It will be Open 44/4 Euro with minor restrictions. You can only put a maximum of one Noyade in your deck, and you can only *play* one Noyade. The same is true for Agility Suit. You can not play Compound Interest before turn 6 if you are using Dresdner HQ. Otherwise, play CI as early as you want. No special edition but promos are allowed.

Game play rounds will be 45 minutes. 10 minutes max between rounds. The trivia will be 1 hour.
