So the GC is finally outselling the PS2 (now that the price has dropped under 100 dollars). If this 1-week trend can continue for, oh, 2 years, maybe GC will catch the PS2 in total units sold wink1.gif

And apparently rumours have it that Target (whatever that is) has received flyers that place the PS2's price as $99 too to compete with the GameCube.

Which would mean a great day for console lovers altogether...

Target is a chain of stores in the US, sort of along the lines of Wal-Mart and K-Mart. They sell just about everything: clothes, furniture, electronics, and even groceries. I do a fair amount of my video game shopping at Target.

I looked at an add in Best Buy and target, both are selling PS2s for $199 but they come with a network adaptor and ATV Offroad Fury 2.

Actually, i take that back about target, i was thinking of Kmart (even though theyre owned by the same company)

Target was where i got my cube from, $75 as a matter of fact original.gif

Nope, remember Kmart filed for bankruptcy. Target did not go bankrupt. I think Mervyns owns/ is owned by Target.
